Does blackened oil mean spoiled?

Some riders may wonder, why did the oil turn black shortly after the change?
Is the oil not up to standard, or has it not been cleaned?
Not really, it's true that the oil turns black. If it does not turn black, it proves that your oil is not functioning properly. There are two main reasons for the blackening of oil: one is to play a cleaning role, and the other is to be oxidized.

The current engine oil generally contains detergent and dispersant, which absorbs the carbon deposits produced by combustion and the oxides of the engine oil, so that it can be replaced when the oil is changed, so as to ensure the internal cleanliness of the engine. Therefore, the blackening of the oil that has just been replaced is not necessarily caused by the dirty inside of the engine, as long as the oil is changed at the specified time.
Recommendation: Be sure to change the oil and oil filter on schedule.
After the oil is used for a period of time, the viscosity of the oil will thicken and acid products will be produced. If it is not replaced regularly, it will damage the engine parts and affect the normal operation of the engine.
Sometimes we also find that the engine oil consumption is too large, and the engine oil pressure indicator shows abnormality. The car has really failed in such a situation.

1. Large fuel consumption

Under normal circumstances, lubricating oil also has normal consumption when the car is in good condition, but when the car is in poor condition, the exhaust of the car emits blue smoke, which actually means that the consumption of lubricating oil is too large.
The consumption of lubricating oil is nothing more than two situations: one is entering the combustion chamber to participate in combustion, and the other is oil leakage.
The reason why the oil can enter the combustion chamber is mainly because the parts are severely worn, the matching clearance is too large, or the oil pressure is too high, which causes the oil to enter the combustion chamber. The leakage of oil is mainly due to the hardening and aging of the gasket and the stuck valve.
If it is an old vehicle, there is generally a situation where the gasket is not tightly sealed due to aging.
In the case of the above situation, it is best for you to pass a professional maintenance center and a maintenance engineer to determine and implement an effective solution.

2. The indicator shows abnormality

When the pointer of the watch shows that the oil pressure is abnormal, it means that the engine parts are faulty.
If the oil gauge pointer shows low pressure or the gauge pointer shows large fluctuations, what is the cause?
It may be due to the large wear of the oil pump, the blockage of the filter by dirt, or the exposed oil surface of the oil suction filter, the low oil level, the air mixed in the oil circuit and the fault of the pressure gauge.
In addition, low lubricating oil viscosity, poor oil seal and lubricity, and excessive lubricating oil sludge deposits with too high lubricating oil viscosity will also cause abnormal display of the oil pressure indicator.

Small summary:
After a period of time, part of the engine oil has been consumed. Generally, the oil capacity of a car is about 4L. When the oil level reaches the MIN of the oil dipstick, the oil is less than 0.5-1L.
If the oil consumption of the car is within 1L within 10,000 kilometers, it is a normal loss, which is not a fault.
